Wine Ad

This is both a motion and branding project rolled into one. The label design, color choice, and bottle modeling were all handled by myself. I also did the animation, but the animation and camera techniques as they are applied here were learned from a product designer named Derek Elliott.

My inspiration for creating a project like this came from both the lovely summer weather and all of the beautiful wine label designs that I saw while visiting the grocery store one day. The goal was to develop a wine brand and logo that gave off the feeling of "warmth" and "sophistication." The Syrah variety of red wine was perfect for this because it is bold and full-bodied with aromatic notes of smoke, black fruit, and pepper spice. The red grape that it is made from is commonly grown in the Rhone Valley area of Southern France. It is a perfect wine for the summer months and warm weather.
